Hope I'm not hijacking, but it looks like I just missed you Bill. I saw your train, the Empire Builder in Portland while I was going through on the Northbound Coast Starlight. I probably even saw you board, as I watched the some of the sleeping car passengers get on.

Yuppers you probably saw me...what a great station...I got off the Starlite a couple of days before but went right to a taxi to get to my motel:-) Well this is me next to the 2830 :-)If we are hi jacking a bit on this thread the powers that be will put us in line...Saxman..thanks for the post..got a big smile on my face now We only had I think three cars with the sleeper at the rear,a coach and the lounge car....I spent most of my time after our cold dinner looking out the rear of our train.....if ya saw me you will remember me:-)




As I sat in my roomette I wasn't sure which way we were going to leave the station...so as always I was facing the wrong way got some pics from the trip,guess I should go to the right spot and tell a story with a few pics.
