Here is a list of meetings for the summer. All Aboard Washington hopes that you can join us at a meeting this summer. The August Meeting will be onboard Amtrak Cascades train #501 and would be perfect with those traveling with friends or family. You can make a day trip to Portland out of it.

We hope to see you at one of our meetings.

JUNE 11 MEETING
Membership meeting - Noon
Embassy Suites Tukwila/Basil's Kitchen - 15920 West Valley Highway

Martin Young, operations manager for SOUNDER will be our guest speaker.

We will be ordering off the menu with individual settlement with the restaurant.

Since the hotel is adjacent to the Tukwila SOUNDER/AMTRAK station, you can travel to Tukwila from both NORTH and SOUTH on Amtrak Cascades.

JULY 9 MEETING
Board of Directors Meeting
Embassy Suites Tukwila/Basil's Kitchen - 15920 West Valley Highway

Though this is a board of directors meeting, all members are welcome to attend the board meeting.

We will be ordering off the menu with individual settlement with the restaurant.

Since the hotel is adjacent to the Tukwila SOUNDER/AMTRAK station, you can travel to Tukwila from both NORTH and SOUTH on Amtrak Cascades.

AUGUST 13 MEETING
Train Meeting and trip to Portland, OR
Amtrak Train 501

Join us for our second annual on-train meeting and trip on the Amtrak Cascades to and from Portland. We will be riding Cascades 501 south and returning on train 508 in the evening. We will try to secure a group coach for us all to ride in together, but you will be responsible for purchasing your own tickets. We will work with Amtrak staff to make sure you're boarded at the right coach with us, whether you get on at Seattle or further south.

There is an optional excursion on the Oregon Pacific Railroad. Details are in the finalization stage and may include a joint AAWA-AORTA picnic at Oaks Park, More details to follow later.

Remember, you are responsible for your own Amtrak tickets to Portland. Families and friends are welcome on this trip.
