Pacific Surfliner Service: Select Pacific Surfliner Trains will not Operate North of Ventura

Effective September 14 & 15, 2011 Only

Due to track work being performed by Union Pacific Railroad on September 14 and 15, select Pacific Surfliner trains will not operate north of Ventura. Passengers will be provided motorcoach service between Oxnard, Santa Barbara, Goleta, San Luis Obispo and all intermediate stations, as described below:

Wednesday, September 14

* Trains 799 and 775 will terminate at Ventura. Passengers traveling north of Ventura will detrain at Oxnard, where motorcoach service will be provided to San Luis Obispo and all intermediate stations.
* Train 798 will originate at Ventura. Passengers boarding at stations from San Luis Obispo to Carpinteria will be provided motorcoach service to Oxnard, where they may board the train.
* Trains 763, 769 and 785 will terminate at Ventura. Passengers traveling to Carpinteria, Santa Barbara and Goleta will detrain at Oxnard, where motorcoach service will be provided to those stations.
* Train 784 and 796 will originate at Ventura. Passengers boarding at Goleta, Santa Barbara and Carpinteria will be provided motorcoach service to Oxnard, where they may board the train.

Thursday, September 15

* Train 799 will terminate at Ventura. Passengers traveling north of Ventura will detrain at Oxnard, where motorcoach service will be provided to San Luis Obispo and all intermediate stations.
* Train 774 and 798 will originate at Ventura. Passengers boarding at stations from San Luis Obispo to Carpinteria will be provided motorcoach service to Oxnard, where they may board the train.
* Train 763 will terminate at Ventura. Passengers traveling to Carpinteria, Santa Barbara and Goleta will detrain at Oxnard, where motorcoach service will be provided to those stations.
* Train 768 and 784 will originate at Ventura. Passengers boarding at Goleta, Santa Barbara and Carpinteria will be provided motorcoach service to Oxnard, where they may board the train.
