Silver Star Train 92 Departs Approximately Five Hours Earlier

Effective February 26 through March 29, 2012

Due to track work being performed by CSX Transportation, northbound Train 92 will operate according to an earlier schedule, as described below:

Train 92 Schedule Change

Beginning February 26, Train 92 will depart Miami approximately five hours earlier than the times shown in Amtrak printed timetables, and will depart all stations on the route approximately five hours earlier. This schedule change will remain in effect through the train's arrival in New York on March 29, 2012.

Thruway Motorcoach Changes

To allow connections with Train 92, the following Thruway motorcoach schedules will be adjusted:

6092 (Fort Meyers - Tampa)
6292 (Lakeland - Jacksonville)
7292 (Daytona Beach - Deland) Special Stops at Wilson and Dillon

Southbound Train 91 will stop at Wilson at 7:56 pm.
Northbound Train 92 will stop at Wilson at 4:52 am.
Southbound Silver Meteor Train 97 will stop at Dillon at 2:19 am.
Northbound Silver Meteor Train 98 will stop at Dillon at 11:51 pm.

Wilson Station Changes for Trains 91 and 92

Passengers traveling on Trains 91 and 92 (only) are advised ofthe following changes at the Wilson station:

The Wilson station will be closed when Trains 91 and 92 arrive/depart. Passengers may wait for the train under the canopy at the station. Checked baggage and ticketing services will not be available. Passengers who require checked baggage service may make reservations to board approximately 15 miles north of Wilson at Rocky Mount. Passengers may obtain tickets by mail, or if the reservation is made within nine days, tickets may be obtained from the conductor on board the train. Complete ticketing options will be offered upon ticket purchase on Amtrak.com, the free iPhone app or through the reservation sales agent. Contact Amtrak for additional questions.
