Amtrak Cascades: Trains 510 and 517 Canceled on Six Consecutive Mondays

Effective March 12, 19 and 26 and April 2, 9 and 16, 2012

Trains 510 and 517, which normally operate between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., will be canceled on Mondays only, starting March 12 through April 16, due to track work being performed by BNSF Railway.

Motorcoach service will be provided at all stops on the route. Other Amtrak Cascades and Thruway motorcoach services are available on Mondays between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. Strange that trackwork won't also affect #513 and #516, given that these travel over the same route and in fact normally pass the affected trains en route.
