Well the bright side, if there is one, is that the alert mentions nothing about Train 354. So at least one train will apparently be unaffected.

Well Amtraks website has removed all service bulletins for the wolverines but trains 350 and 355 are showing sold out now through may 12th at lest. It makes no since that it would be sold out Royal oak to Pontiac as the train is just about empty at that point so It indicates that though trains are only running dearborn to Chicago. According to train orders track work is done but that disturbed the ballast and that has to settle so the slow orders remain in place. Does it really take 2 weeks for ballast to settle or is there something else going on. So instead of me taking 350 on may 5th from royal oak to Pontiac I had to book greyhound for that trip. At least right now 351 352 353 354 are still running the full route so for now NTD is safe otherwise it's megabus.
