Scratch the normal service idea, things are slow running on the Orange Line open portions. Service is only to Haymarket with bussing to Wellington. About a five to ten minute delay expected after rush hour, with five minute or less delay during rush hour.

From Boston Globe, 4/15/04:
QUOTE Leaking railroad car tangles commute A railroad tanker car that started leaking hydrochloric acid just yards from the Orange Line's Sullivan Station in Charlestown yesterday morning turned the evening commute chaotic for thousands of rail and subway riders, who were forced to take detours home to avoid the cleanup of the hazardous material. The entire story is here. -------------------- Kevin Korell OTOL Board Leader Howell, NJ |
