Some brief travel notes. More in the next coming weeks, as the next few days look busy for me.

#30(2), PGH-WAS. Departed two hours late out of PGH. Ambled across SW PA on the opposite main while CSXT gandy dancers performed the maintenance blitz on the other track. Solid, above average service from the OBS crew. WAS arrival was at 4:00p, two and a half hours late.

#174(3), BAL-PHL. OT the whole way. Nothing in particular to write about.

#43(3), PHL-PGH. Five minutes late out of PHL, but George the cafe car attendant more than made up for any problems on this run. Arrival in PGH was 20 minutes to the good.

A detailed trip report concerning my trip on #30 has been dispatched to HaRRy, and should appear shortly on the main part of OTOL.

Reports on the Washington-Baltimore, Baltimore-Philadelphia, and Philadelphia-Pittsburgh legs of this trip will be delayed until I can get out from some of the scripts I owe people. A packed shooting schedule these past several weeks has not helped.

Good for business; not so good for railfanning. sad.gif
