Market Street Elevated Shutdown

This is the second and last extended outage on the El this summer. Shuttle buses will substitute for El service.

This extended EL shutdown is scheduled to last 16 days starting on Friday, August 10, at 8 p.m. and continuing through Monday, August 27, at 5 a.m. During this time there will be NO EL service at 69th St, 63rd St, 60th, 56th St, or 52nd St Stations.

Route 15 Bus Substitution

July 27-August 6, 2007
Friday, 7:00 p.m. - Monday, 5:00 a.m.

Due to underground cable work between Richmond and 54th Streets, all Route 15 service will be provided by bus from Friday, July 27, at 7:00 p.m., to Monday, August 6, at 5:00 a.m., when Trolley service will resume.

Service Diversion to 40th and Market Streets
Monday, August 6, 2007

Due to routine maintenance, all routes will be diverted to the Market-Frankford Elevated Station at 40th and Market Streets. Customers should use the Market Street El Owl Bus service for Center City.

9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Due to track work, all service will be from the outbound platforms at Hughes Park, Gulph Mills, Matsonford, County Line, and Radnor Stations.

August 7, 2007
9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Due to track work, all service will be from the outbound platforms at Haverford, Ardmore Avenue, and Ardmore Junction Stations.

August 9, 2007
9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Due to track work, all service will be from the inbound platforms at Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Garrett Hill, Stadium, and Villanova Stations.
