Digitrax coming to Bay County
A Norcross, Ga.-based manufacturer is relocating to Panama City and could be operational at a new Transmitter Road facility by August, the Bay County Economic Development Alliance’s executive director said Tuesday.
Ted Clem said the Bay County Commission approved property tax abatements Tuesday morning for Digitrax, which manufactures digital command controls for high-end model railroad systems and Panama City Beach-based online travel company BookIt.com.
Clem said Digitrax would start its Panama City operations with 10 employees and has plans to bump that number up to 50 by 2010.
