Republican Wave could spell trouble for High speed rail projects nationwide.

Of course you have to wonder how they are going about polling people, and how they are determining who to poll. The fact that they break it down by area code indicates to me that they are using telephone surveying, which many people will ignore when the strange number comes up on their caller ID. So are they really getting a good representative sampling of the state residents' true feelings? Or, are the polls tailor made to only ask people they expect will say "NO' to the train?
I heard that they also just use land-lines for the polling, which as the number of people only using mobile phones grows, the data will only get more skewed.
