Full Version: MUNI/Possible F Line extension to Fort Mason

Any extension is all well and good. Going to Fort Mason sort of validates the use of the letter "F". smile.gif

But whatever happened to the "E-Embarcadero" Line? It was to use part of the "F" line along Embarcadero, and then extend over the "T - Third" line to the CalTrain station and possibly beyond. The "E" would not require any new tracks to be built, just interlining with other routes.

San Francisco's historic and popular F Line streetcar service may reach a short but critical 0.85 miles west of its current terminus at Fisherman's Wharf, if a recommendation spearheaded by the National Park Service comes to fruition.

Excellent! smile.gif Such an extension will provide another enhancement to San francisco's tourism value. Let's hope city officials move quickly to implement the extension which has been under analysis for over five years.
