- Construction is underway on the Cincinnati Streetcar. Utility relocation is taking place now, with track construction to begin by this Fall.
- A new route for the extended Pennsylvanian was proposed, that would include service to Columbus, Cincinnati, and Fort Wayne. The same plan may also reroute the Capitol Limited.
