I could not tell who gets the blame here, but good to see Union Pacific taking the precaution to replace the defective ties. The passenger trains on this corridor will soon be going 110MPH, and good to see that at least on a portion of the line, test runs will begin on schedule.

What I am curious about is how much the entire project has been delayed by this.
