DesertXpress, the planned high-speed rail line between Las Vegas (NV) and Victorville (CA), is one step closer to extending service to Los Angeles. DesertXpress Enterprises signed a letter of intent with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority that includes a plan to build a 50-mile rail line between Victorville and Palmdale that would connect with the state’s planned high-speed rail system.
