Virginia Beach light rail supporters form PAC

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) - Advocates of extending light rail into Virginia Beach have formed a political action committee.

The Virginian-Pilot reports that Move Hampton Roads will raise money ahead of a November referendum that will ask residents if they want to explore the idea of a light rail system. Virginia Beach voters rejected light rail in a 1999 referendum.
