Not good news to passengers. The whole thing went away with gunn cause amtrak treated the passengers like the freight railroads treat amtrak. Freight took priority. Amtrak could be a couple hours early into say CHI only to sit while amtrak took off the mail cars etc and you end up being a hour late into CHI.

Good point, Wolverine. I am hoping USPS will bring back RPOs. That will put the postal service, in small town markets, on par with FedEx.
