I found out when walking around Chicago Union Station earlier this week that there is a summer-long trackwork program on Metra's SouthWest Service. A photocopied timetable supercedes the regular one. The trains we are riding (815 and 830) are still running, however the trips will be about 5 minutes longer. Both trains will leave the origin points at the same time as before, but will get to their destinations approximately 5 minutes later. I don't know if anyone had planned any super tight connections back in Chicago after the Manhattan trip, but do be advised that we are subject to these delays. I'll update our main itinerary soon to reflect this.
