| St. Louis Car Company built 14 of these double-ended cars in 1949. Similar in design to PCCs, the cars ride on trucks suited for "high speed" suburban service. These cars are not PCCs. No. 24 is the highest number of the class. The photo was taken at Drexel Hill Junction, where the lines to Sharon Hill and Media split. |
