Effective September 1, 2023, this page has been revised to reflect changes to the Amtrak roster which have occurred since the mid-fall 2022 cutoff for Amtrak By the Numbers:2. All the information from the previous page had been incorporated into the this new book. To help maintain information continuity with equipment currently being delivered, e.g. state-owned PRIIA passenger cars and Amtrak's ALC-42 diesel locomotives, those tables have been retained in their entirety. Due to the fluid nature of equipment changing from active to inactive status and back due to damage and repairs, such changes will not necessarily be listed on this page. The overall number of each active car type will continue to be provided on the main On Track On Line roster pages. Data is generally organized in the same order as the book, i.e., first by major equipment type, and then by vehicle type. All of the State-Owned equipment, both rolling stock and motive power, are grouped together on this page as opposed to separating rolling stock and motive power in the book. If the listing of the vehicle type is not a hyperlink, that means there are no updates for that particular vehicle type. The entire AEM fleet history is listed here, though the only changes since the publication of ABTN:2 have been the scrapping of 14 of the 15 AEM-7s which were moved to Davisville, and the donation of 941 to the Danbury Railroad Museum. (L)--These units were owned by Mitsui and leased to Amtrak in a deal associated with the conversion to AC propulsion. The leases expired in the 2014-2017 time frame. While not owned by Amtrak, they were moved to Davisville, RI in 2019, and ultimately scrapped in 2023. |

#BEE-Beech Grove, IN *All trainsets were removed from service in June 2020. Washington DOT's July 2020 Sales Document refers to trainsets as One (1) and Two (2). Three vehicles are offered as Spare (S). These trains correlate to the as-delivered Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier. Due to equipment shifts during their service life, the June 2020-listed trainset name/configurations on the Trainsets page do not match the sales document as after service removal the transits were reconfigured back to as-delivered equipment. The trainsets were sold in August 2020 to NSM Transportation Company in Camarillo, CA, and moved there in March 2021 for scrapping. Cars remaining in Seattle were WashDOT 7105, 7305 and 7905, and Amtrak 7419 and 7522. These were scrapped in December, 2022. **7304 was donated to the Pacific Railway Museum by the contractor who scrapped the Amtrak sets. |
